Committee

Meet the dedicated committee members who are driving the success of the South East Field Target Association. Learn about the individuals behind the scenes who are passionate about promoting the sport of air rifle shooting in the South East region.

Natalie Shead - Chairman

Natalie has been the chairman for the region since 2021. She has been involved in the Field Target Shooting for a number of years and is a member ICENI Marksmen and Springfield shooting clubs.

Natalie first took up shooting at the age of 11 and after some breaks, came back to the sport in 2011.  Since then she has actively been on the committee at Iceni as treasurer and is passionate about field target shooting.

Phil Hudson - Secretary

Phil is a keen Hunter Field Target and Field Target shooter who has been serving the region as secretary for around 4 years.

He is a member of Springfield and initially joined them as an HFT shooter.  However,  the temptation of Field Target was too strong!

Successful at both disciplines and committed to promote the region and its members.

David Ward - Competition Secretary

David has been shooting for many years, providing excellent experience to the community.  He is known for setting testing and challenging courses at his home club, Springfield.

His course setting experience can now serve the region well as he has only recently joined the committee!

Ian Young - Stats Master

Ian used to be a regular field target shooter at Springfield,  however he has not picked up his rifle in years.  This hasn't stopped him from being an invaluable member of the SEFTA committee.

Ian does all the statistics for the SEFTA Winter league and organises the showdown event.

Dan Eley - EFTA Rep

Dan has shot for many years, achieving multiple accolades including a world championship win and several placings at international and national competitions.
